During a recession, recent college grad Sneha moves to Milwaukee for a grueling, albeit substantial corporate job that presents the kinds of doors she’s always wanted to open. Days of picking up the tab and furnishing her new apartment coincide with sending money back home to India and bonding with her friends, Thom and Tig. Sneha also starts dating women and soon develops an intense crush for Marina, a beautiful dancer who seems to pop up when she least expects it.
But trouble is on the horizon, and suddenly Sneha’s job and home are on the line. As she struggles to maintain an overbearing work life, Sneha throws herself into a romance which threatens to end in disaster if she can’t let go of the painful secrets which have plagued her since childhood.
